Leishman led the Lady Mustangs to a 2-0 week, with wins over Green Canyon and Bear River. Against the Bears, Leishman earned Player of the Game honors as she scored 18 points which included four made 3-pointers to help power MC to victory. For the week, Leishman averaged 15.5 points and helped get the Mustangs into a tie for second place in the Region 11 standings. Anderson also helped his Wolves to a 2-0 week as they downed Mountain Crest and Logan. In the latter game, Anderson scored 29 points, his highest scoring total since early December, to help Green Canyon avenge a loss to the Grizzlies earlier this year. Hess played every minute of Mountain Crest’s upset win over Logan, the No. 3 team in the RPI. He scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had five steals plus two blocks to help the Mustangs get revenge for a triple-overtime loss to the Grizzlies in the first game of region play nearly a month ago. Skinner led the way for the Riverhawks in a 2-0 week featuring wins over Green Canyon and Skyridge. She scored 18-plus points in both games, averaging 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 4.5 steals and 2.0 blocks in the two-game span. LEFT – Sky View boys basketball guard Macade Rolle | RIGHT – Sky View girls basketball forward Claire Fischer LOGAN — Sky View has swept this week’s Boys and Girls Cache Valley Media Group Prep Players of the Week, Presented by McDonalds. Boys basketball guard Macade Rolle and girls basketball forward Clair Fischer earned the distinctions for this past week. Rolle, an emerging sophomore guard for the Bobcats, set a career-high in points with 23 against Green Canyon and then followed it up with 20 against Mountain Crest for a second straight 20-point game. His 20 points, to go with five assists (which tied his previous career high) helped the Bobcats get their first win since the start of region play. For the week, Rolle averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 assists and shot 5 of 11 on 3-pointers overall. Fischer played two dominant games for the Bobcats in a 2-0 week that solidified her team as the clear second-place team in the region and No. 4 team in the 4A RPI. She started the week by nearly recording a 20/20 game by scoring 24 points and grabbing 19 rebounds against Green Canyon and then dominated the paint defensively against Mountain Crest
