MADISON, Wis. – Graduate Camren Todd finished in 25th place, earning All-American honors, and Utah State’s men’s cross country team finished 22nd at the 2024 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships on Saturday. Todd became the seventh cross country All-American and the first since the 2020 season. “I am so proud of these guys,” said Artie Gulden, USU’s director of track & field and cross country. “To be a top-25 team in the NCAA is a special thing.” The Aggie men, ranked No. 23 entering the race, took 22nd in the 10K team competition with 554 points, defeating No. 18 Princeton, No. 19 Eastern Kentucky, and No. 21 Harvard. Todd, running at nationals for the third time, led the Aggies with a time of 29:17.4, followed by graduate Spencer Nelson’s 133rd-place time of 30.06.7. Junior Logan Garnica was Utah State’s third scorer, finishing in 141st place with a time of 30:10.4. Freshman Joshua McKee finished in 170th place with a time of 30:27.0, and junior LJ Floyd rounded out the Aggie scoring with a 203rd-place finish, clocking in at 30:51.6.
