Inaugural RPI for Boys Volleyball out, Ridgeline at No. 3 as best-ranked Region 11 team | Sports

The inaugural RPI for Boys Volleyball was released this morning by the Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA), not only the first for this season but the first-ever for the sport in the state of Utah. Region 11 teams have done fairly well this season, with four teams currently with winning records, though the RPI has not reflected that initial success. Ridgeline did receive a favorable ranking, coming in at third as the highest ranked team from Region 11. Green Canyon and Sky View are ninth and 10th, respectively. Logan, despite being the first-place team in the region standings, is only 14th due to an overall lower strength of schedule. Mountain Crest is 22nd with Bear River at 26th. First Boys Soccer RPI released with three Region 11 teams in top five | Sports

The first Boys Soccer RPI was revealed Thursday morning from the Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) and Region 11 showed out well with three teams in the top five and four in the top 11 overall. Reigning state champion Green Canyon is ranked second overall with Ridgeline at fourth and Logan fifth. Sky View ranks 11th with Mountain Crest and Bear River rounding out the Region 11 teams at 15th and 17th. One last RPI ranking is scheduled to be revealed this week. First 4A baseball RPI revealed, Bear River in top five | Sports

The UHSAA released the first of several RPI rankings to be revealed this week. This morning the baseball rankings were posted and Region 11 teams were not very well represented at the top as Bear River is the only team from the region to be inside the top 10 of the RPI. The Bears came in ranked fourth of the 24 teams in the 4A classification with Ridgeline at 13th, Green Canyon at 20th, Sky View at 23rd and Logan in the 24th spot. Box Elder, in the 5A RPI, came in at 13th of 31 teams. Five more RPI rankings are scheduled to be revealed this week, one each weekday through Friday. Opening RPI for boys and girls lacrosse released | Sports

The first boys and girls RPI rankings were jointly revealed yesterday morning by the UHSAA. Region 11 tops the rankings in girls lacrosse with Bear River and Sky View is the highest ranking boys lacrosse team at third. For girls lacrosse, Mountain Crest is the next-highest ranked team behind the Bears, coming in at sixth. Sky View is eighth, Logan is at 10th, Green Canyon is 11th and Ridgeline ranks 13th among the 17 teams ranked. In boys lacrosse, Green Canyon joins the Bobcats in the top five with the Wolves ranking fifth. Ridgeline is seventh and Mountain Crest is 10th to give Region 11 four teams in the top 10. Bear River is just outside that group at 11th. Region play has not yet begun for either Region 11 boys or girls lacrosse. Those games will begin next week. Softball RPI revealed with four Region 11 teams in top 10 | Sports

Softball became the fourth of six spring sports to have its RPI revealed this by UHSAA. The initial rankings were revealed this morning and featured several teams from Region 11 toward the top of the rankings. Ridgeline, which remains undefeated at 11-0, were ranked second overall, just behind No. 1 Desert Hills. Bear River come in at sixth with Logan and eighth and Sky View ninth to round out four total Region 11 teams in the top 10. Mountain Crest and Green Canyon are ranked 22nd and 23rd, respectively. Two more RPI rankings are scheduled to be revealed this week, one each weekday through Friday.
