Utah State men’s basketball received multiple commits over the weekend and on Monday. A long-time pillar of USU athletics passed away. Former Aggies continued to impress in the preseason. Former BYU, Virginia star Dallin Hall commits to Utah State On Sunday, the former BYU and Virginia point guard, Dallin Hall, posted on social media his commitment to play for Utah State this upcoming season. That Hall will be playing this season at all was unexpected, as he has played four seasons of college basketball. However, lawsuits and injunctions that have caused chaos over who is and isn’t eligible currently allow Hall to sign with a team and prepare to play college basketball in the 2026-27 season. As things stand, Hall is an Aggie and brings valuable experience from his previous four seasons at BYU and Virginia. Hall spent three years with the Cougars and one with the Cavaliers. He’s played 136 total games, six of those in the NCAA Tournament (and three wins in the NCAA Tournament). Hall averaged 7.7 points, 4.1
