This week’s Cache Valley Media Group Girls and Boys Prep Players of the Week are Mountain Crest girls soccer forward Hadli Barrera and Ridgeline football quarterback Nate Dahle.
The Prep Player of the Week awards are presented by BlueSky Restoration and Center Street Grill.
Barrera starred for the Mustangs yet again, earning her second Player of the Week this season. She scored two goals in Mountain Crest’s 6-0 win over Logan in the early game of the week and then led the team to a region title in the latter game. She scored one goal and added an assist for the Mustangs in the 3-1 victory over Green Canyon that sent the Region 11 trophy to Hyrum.
Dahle didn’t see a ton of time on the field in Ridgeline’s 68-0 win over Logan last Friday, but did plenty of work in that short time. He completed 9 of his 11 passes for 232 yards and tallied five overall touchdowns — four through the air and one on the ground.
