LOGAN, Utah – Six Utah State football players were announced as members of the 2024 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, it was announced Wednesday. The 2024 class is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. A total of 1,989 players from 339 schools qualified for membership in the society’s 18th year. Michael Anyanwu (Covina, California/Charter Oak HS), Stephen Kotsanlee (Melbourne, Australia/Box Hill HS), Broc Lane (Chandler, Arizona/Perry HS), Cooper Legas (Orem, Utah/Orem HS), Terrell Vaughn (Oxnard, California/Westlake HS/Ventura JC) and Levi Williams (Canyon Lake, Texas/Smithson Valley HS/Wyoming) were all recognized for their academic and athletic efforts. The six Aggies were among 64 student-athletes from the Mountain West to make the list. During his six-year career at Utah State, Anyanwu maintained a 3.67 grade point average as he earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in sports management. He was named academic all-Mountain West three times (2020, 2021, 2023) and was named a MW Scholar-Athlete in 2022.
