The senior from Las Vegas, Nevada, qualified on bars and will compete in Session I of the second round of the California Regional held at Haas Pavilion on Friday, April 5th, at 2 p.m. (MT).

“We are thrilled for Brianna to be competing for the second year in a row as a bar’s specialist,” said USU head coach Kristin White. “It is an incredible honor to qualify to the NCAA Championships as an individual. She has had an incredible year and we look forward to seeing her represent Utah State at the California Regional.”

This past weekend at the inaugural Mountain West Championships, Brooks scored a season-high-tying 9.900 to win the bars title. She also competed in the all-around and placed second with a 39.300. Brooks scored a 9.700 on vault, 9.875 on beam, and a career-high-tying 9.825 on floor as the Aggies scored a season-high 196.500 at the meet.

This season, Brooks earned second-team all-MW honors in the all-around and on bars.

Brooks is making her fourth appearance at regionals. As a junior in 2023, she tied for third on bars with a personal-best 9.925, which ranks second all-time in school history for a regional meet. At the 2022 Oklahoma Regional, she tied for fourth on bars with a then-personal-best 9.900, which had tied for second all-time for a regional meet. She also tied for 17th on beam (9.800) and tied for 24th on vault (9.725). At the 2021 Salt Lake City NCAA Regional, Brooks tied for 17th on bars (9.775) and tied for 22nd on beam (9.375).
