Photo by Lorene Hale Region 11 baseball and softball teams found out this week where they ranked at the conclusion of the regular season and who they will face in the upcoming playoffs. The Utah High School Activities Association revealed the final RPI rankings of the season for the two sports ahead of the playoffs which begin this week. Final RPI Rankings for Region 11 Baseball4-Mountain Crest 17-76-Ridgeline 14-107-Green Canyon 14-118-Bear River 13-911-Sky View 8-1313-Logan 0-19 The baseball playoffs begin Thursday, May 11 and continue on Friday, May 12 at the sites of the higher-seeded teams in the Super Regional. In fact, all Region 11 teams will be staying in Northern Utah for their games in the best-of-three series, and two of the series will involve Region 11 rematches. #4 Mountain Crest hosts #13 Logan, #6 Ridgeline hosts #11 Sky View, #7 Green Canyon hosts #10 Hurricane (6-12) and #8 Bear River hosts #9 Pine View (5-15). In Region 10, #5 Desert Hills (13-11) will have a rematch with #12 Cedar (5-20). #1 Snow Canyon (20-5), #2 Crimson Cliffs (21-3) and #3 Dixie (17-7) all earned first round byes.
