LOGAN – The Utah State gymnastics team will face No. 21 Southern Utah at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Friday, February 17. The meet is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Utah State, with a 1-6 record, is hoping to break a world record for the most cookies simultaneously dunked in milk at a single location, with Gossner Foods providing milk and Crumbl Cookies supplying chocolate chip cookies. The current record stands at 3,236, and the Utah State Athletics department is aiming for 4,000 participants to break the record.

“We knew at the beginning of season that our depth was going to be tested this year,” said first-year Utah State head coach Kristin White. “Unfortunately, each week we have dealt with some challenging adversity, but our athletes continue to show up and fight. We made some adjustments to a few of our routines this past week and will have some new athletes stepping into new roles. I am incredibly proud of the determination and willingness that they have taken upon themselves to do everything they can for their teammates and this program.”
