SMITHFIELD – Following a career game last week, Sky View guard Hannah Radford has been named Cache Valley Media Group Prep Basketball Player of the Week, presented by McDonalds.
In the one game Sky View played last week, Radford scored a career-high 27 points in the Bobcats’ 66-46 win over Bear River. Radford led all scorers across boys and girls games last week, helped along by the fact she went a perfect 5-for-5 on 3-pointers. The five made threes was also a career-high for senior. To those points and threes, Radford added five rebounds and three assists.
Three others were nominated for this week’s Player of the Week: Carson Cox (Ridgeline boys), Emilee Skinner (Ridgeline girls), and Jordan Child (Logan boys). Cox scored 20 points to lead the boys team’s win over Green Canyon. Skinner also had 20 points in the girls team’s win over Green Canyon while also grabbing 15 rebounds. Child scored 21 points in Logan’s thrilling win over Mountain Crest.
