Ridgeline continued its perfect season with a win over Bear River in the Region 11 Game of the Week. The Riverhawks jumped out early, taking an 8-4 lead and going on a 22-4 run spanning the first and second quarters. The scoring slowed down in the second half but Ridgeline still outscored the Bears by seven points in the second half.
Five Riverhawks players scored double figures led by Emilee Skinner’s 21, followed by 14 from Halle Smith, 13 from Elise Livingston, 11 from Brinley Wiese and 10 from Macie Brown. Bear River was led in scoring by Gracie Riley who had 14 points.

Sky View 58, Logan 21

Sky View handled Logan with a balanced scoring offense. Ten different Bobcats found the bottom of the net led by reigning CVMG Player of the Week Hannah Radford who had 16 points.
“Tonight was a good team win,” Bobcats head coach Vanessa Hall said. “Basketball is a game of adjustments and we liked the changes we made offensively as the game went on. We liked how balanced our scoring was and the production we got from our bench players.”
The Bobcats remain in a spot to challenge Ridgeline for the top spot in Region 11 thanks to this win.

Green Canyon 70, Mountain Crest 59

In what was a back-and-forth game in the first half, Green Canyon came out on top thanks to a fourth quarter surge. The Mustangs led after the first quarter but surrendered a narrow 30-29 lead to Green Canyon at halftime. The two sides remained close until the Wolves put up a 25-point fourth quarter to separate and come away with the win.
The Wolves come away with a crucial matchup between the third and fourth-place teams in the region. It increases Green Canyon’s chances of getting a bye in the first round of the 4A playoffs and sets up a potential run at second place in Region 11.
