Two of those career-highs came on Jan. 25 against Mountain Crest with Skinner breaking her personal bests in points (34) and 3-pointers made (six). Her new season high in steals (seven) also came in this game. Against Mountain Crest, Skinner also grabbed 10 rebounds to record her fifth double-double of the season. In her second game of the week, Skinner was less involved in scoring with just 15 points but did block four shots for her third new career-high of the week. Across the two games this week, Skinner averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 4.5 steals and 2.0 blocks. In winning the award this week Skinner is not only the only athlete to win CVMG Player of the Week three times, but remains the only athlete to win it multiple times in a season.
