LEFT – Logan boys basketball forward Jordan Child | RIGHT – Ridgeline girls basketball guard Emilee Skinner LOGAN – After the first week of Region 11 games, Logan boys basketball forward Jordan Child and Ridgeline girls basketball guard Emilee Skinner have been named the Boys and Girls Cache Valley Media Group Prep Players of the Week, Presented by McDonalds. Child scored a career-high 33 points to go with eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and four blocks in the Grizzlies triple-overtime victory over Mountain Crest. Additionally, Child hit the game-winning shot of the 85-84 win with 0.7 seconds left in the third overtime period. This is the second time this season Child has earned Boys Player of the Week. Skinner led the way for the Riverhawks in a win over Green Canyon, scoring 25 points to go with two rebounds, two assists and three steals against the No. 4 team in the 4A Girls Basketball RPI. Skinner has won Girls Player of the Week three times this season and six times overall in the last two years.
