LOGAN – Cache Valley Media Group has announced its 2025 All-Region 11 basketball honors, recognizing standout players and coaches from another competitive season in Northern Utah. Green Canyon and Ridgeline emerged as the dominant programs, with players and coaches from both schools earning the region’s top accolades. Region 11 Boys Player of the Year: Jude Haigh Leading the charge in boys’ basketball was Jude Haigh of Green Canyon, who was named Region 11 Player of the Year. The senior guard averaged 21.96 points, 5.41 rebounds, and 1.19 steals per game, guiding the Wolves to a Region 11 title and a deep state playoff run. Haigh was also recognized multiple times as the Cache Valley Media Group Region 11 Boys Prep Player of the Week. Region 11 Boys Coach of the Year: Logan Brown Green Canyon’s Logan Brown was honored as Coach of the Year, recognized for leading the Wolves to a Region 11 championship and a runner-up finish in the 4A boys basketball championship. Bear River Coach Jason Bingham was recognized as the 4A Coach of the Year. In the final week of the season, the two likely Region 11 MVPs — Green Canyon wing Jude Haigh and Ridgeline guard Emilee Skinner — shone at arguably their brightest and claimed the Boys and Girls Prep Player of the Week awards one more time. It’s the fifth weekly award won by Haigh this year and sixth by Skinner. The Prep Player of the Week awards are presented by BlueSky Restoration and Center Street Grill. Haigh played in one game last week, scoring 32 points in Green Canyon’s final regular season game, a 63-41 win over West Field. It was his highest scoring game since putting up 49 back in mid-December. The senior wing finished the regular season with an average of 22.8 points per game. Skinner, for all her dominance as a four-year star at Ridgeline, hadn’t ever eclipsed 40 points in a single game. She did just that in her regular season finale with the Riverhawks, scoring 41 against Mountain Crest, making 17 of 21 field goal attempts while adding nine rebounds, three assists and four steals to the mix.
