Utah State soccer shuts out Utah to improve to 4-0 | Sports
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah State soccer (4-0, 0-0 MW) remained perfect on the season with a 2-0 victory over Utah Wednesday evening at Ute Field, improving to 4-0 for the second time in program history. The Aggies have now out-scored opponents by a combined 11-0 this season. After a scoreless first half in which the Aggies limited Utah to just a single shot, Utah State got on the board in the 58th minute when a throw-in to senior forward Bizzy Arevlo turned into a well-placed pass in the middle of the box for sophomore midfielder Summer Diamond, who delivered a right-footer into the back of the net. Just five minutes later, Utah State tacked on another when graduate defender Kylie Olsen found graduate midfielder Alex Day, who ricocheted a shot off the woodwork and into the net to make it 2-0.
