Utah State announces majority of its 2024 non-conference football schedule with games against Robert Morris, USC and Temple – Cache Valley Daily

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State interim Athletics Director Jerry Bovee announced Friday the majority of its 2024 non-conference football schedule, which includes a home game against Robert Morris, a road game at USC and a home-and-home series versus Temple.

Utah State will open the 2024 campaign with a home game Robert Morris on Saturday, Aug. 31, followed by a road game at USC on Saturday, Sept. 7. USU will also play at Temple on Saturday, Sept. 21, as part of a home-and-home series that will have the Owls return to Maverik Stadium in Logan on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2028.

Utah State still has one home game to fill for the 2024 season, a game that will be played on either Saturday, Sept. 14, or Saturday, Sept. 28.

Utah State’s game at USC replaces its previously announced matchup at Mississippi State as the Aggies and Bulldogs will not play one another.

Utah State has never faced Robert Morris or Temple and is 0-6 all-time against USC. The 2024 matchup with the Trojans will mark the third meeting between the two programs since 2013 as USU lost at the Coliseum 17-14 in 2013 and 45-7 in 2016.
