Miller Field at Brigham Young University on Tuesday. #8 Bear River outlasted #5 Desert Hills 11-10 in an up and down game in the consolation bracket. With the win, they will play Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Utah Valley University against fellow Region 11 foe Mountain Crest. #6 Ridgeline has struggled to get runners on base and across home plate, while also stopping their opponents from doing the same. On Monday, Ridgeline lost 10-1 vs. Dixie and Tuesday wasn’t much better. The Riverhawks lost 8-1 vs #2 Crimson Cliffs, meaning Ridgeline is officially eliminated from the playoffs. Later in the day, #7 Green Canyon suffered a similar 8-1 loss to #3 Dixie. But the Wolves were not eliminated from contention. They will face the team who took out the Riverhawks – Crimson Cliffs – at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the consolation bracket at Utah Valley University in Orem. The night cap featured #4 Mountain Crest vs #1 Snow Canyon. The Warriors needed a walk off home run
