LOGAN, Utah – Utah State Interim Director of Athletics Jerry Bovee announced Wednesday that Aggie men’s basketball legend Jaycee Carroll will have his No. 20 jersey retired in a halftime ceremony of its home game against Nevada on Saturday, Feb. 18. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. “Jaycee is one of the greatest basketball players in Aggie history and incredibly deserving of this honor,” said Bovee. “We are thrilled to be able to celebrate his remarkable accomplishments in front of Aggie Nation.” Carroll will join three other Aggie greats that have their jerseys hanging from the rafters of the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Greg Grant (5), Cornell Green (24) and Marvin Roberts (31). USU also has two retired numbers in Bert Cook (6) and Wayne Estes (33). “My family and I are honored to be recognized with those Aggie greats that have had their jersey or number already retired,” said Carroll. “This is a dream come true for me and a tremendous honor. It’s awesome to be part of Utah State Basketball and its rich tradition of history.” Carroll (2005-08) was a two-time All-American, two-time first-team all-Western Athletic
