Max Shulga to represent Ukraine at U20 European Championships – Cache Valley Daily

Scott LOGAN, Utah – Utah State junior guard Max Shulga will be playing on the Ukrainian National Team when the FIBA U20 European Championships begin on Saturday, July 16. Ukraine begins pool play against the Czech Republic at 6:15 a.m. (MT) with the competition being played in Montenegro. Ukraine’s group also includes Spain and Lithuania, squads that are ranked No. 2 and No. 7 in the latest FIBA rankings, respectively. Pool play continues on Sunday, July 17, at 10:45 a.m. (MT) when Ukraine faces Lithuania and wraps up on Monday, July 18, with Spain and Ukraine at 6:15 a.m. (MT). The Round of 16 begins on Wednesday, July 20, and continues into the medal games on Sunday, July 24. (AP Photo/Lance Iversen) LOGAN, Utah – The Mountain West announced on Thursday a new football schedule rotation for the next three seasons as the league will eliminate divisions starting with the 2023 campaign. During the three-year cycle, all teams will face nine of the 11 opponents twice, once at home and once on the road, and two opponents in each of the three years. The two opponents Utah State will face in each of the next three seasons are Boise State and San Diego State as the Aggies will host the Broncos twice and the Aztecs once. During the 2023 campaign, Utah State will host Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State and Nevada, and play at Air Force, New Mexico, San Diego State and San José State. In 2024, USU will host Hawai’i, New Mexico, Wyoming and San Diego State, and play at Boise State, Colorado State, Nevada and UNLV.
