FILE PHOTO: Old Main at the Utah State University campus LOGAN, Utah –Utah State University’s 135th undergraduate commencement ceremony will be held Thursday, May 5, at 9 a.m., in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum and among those graduating will be 64 USU student-athletes who completed their degrees during the 2021-22 academic year. Among those student-athletes graduating are 13 football players, eight women’s track & field athletes, seven soccer athletes, six players each from women’s basketball and softball, five women’s track & field athletes, four athletes each from men’s basketball, gymnastics and volleyball, two athletes from both golf and women’s tennis and one student-athlete from men’s tennis. Utah State‘s student-athletes traditionally rank among the best in the Mountain West with an NCAA Graduation Success Rate of 93 percent, which is the highest in the conference, and a cumulative 3.35 grade-point average.
