LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men’s basketball will enter the Mountain West Championships as the No. 7 seed and will face the 10th-seeded Air Force Falcons on Wednesday, March 9, at 2:30 p.m. (MT)

It marks the second time in the MW-era that the Aggies will enter the championships as the No. 7 seed, previously advancing to the MW Semifinals in 2018 after victories over Colorado State (76-65) and Boise State (78-75). The Aggies are unbeaten in first round games since joining the MW and 4-4 in quarterfinal action.

All-time, Utah State has entered its conference tournament as the No. 7 seed four times and is 51-33 overall in conference tournaments. The Aggies have advanced to the MW Championship each of the last three seasons.

A win in the first round would mean a third meeting with the second-seeded Colorado State Rams in the MW Quarterfinals on Thursday, March 10, at 7 p.m. (MT), with semifinal action on Friday, March 11, at 10 p.m. (MT). USU will have played their fourth game in four days when the MW Championships roll around on Saturday, March 12, at 4 p.m. (MT).
